The Begonia Amphioxus which is also known as the begonia amphioxus butterfly for its bright foliage that resembles a butterfly, making it a unique exotic plant. This plant was discovered near a limestone hill in Sabah Malaysia in 1984, It can grow to 15 to 30 cm in height and 10 to 31 cm in width and its leaves are pointed and long averaging from 3 to 5 cm[ZT1] long and 1 to 2cm wide. Despite being discovered in the 1980s, it was only first described by Martin Sands from the New England Botanical Garden in the 1990s.

Each plant will be labelled individually. Photos will be taken of every individual plant, and uploaded.
When you place an order, you will be ordering the exact same plant that is shown in the photos.

All the plants are picked fresh out from our local greenhouse at Punggol. So you may find some soil/water marks on them. These can be easily removed with a plant shower/wet wipes.
