Alocasia is from the family Araceae. It has 79 species native to tropical/subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia. It is also known as elephant ear with a classic alocasia leaf look that stands out with deep contrasting veins. Its unique beautiful pink stems make pink dragon a special and striking plant.

Pest: Spider mites seem to adore Alocasias. Mist the the underside of the leaves daily and weekly neem spray are good preventive rituals against the mites.

All the plants are picked fresh out from our local greenhouse at Punggol. So you may find some soil or water marks on them. These can be easily removed with a plant shower/wet wipes.
